Recently known around town as Marty Feeds, the building is now known as The Marketplace Food Court. With a collection of local restauranters it is an excellent setting for small start-ups that are looking for a unique space. Each space is built out to meet the needs of that business with in-house-made cabinets and countertops, plumbing, power and gas line needs for stovetops, fryers, or whatever else your space may need.

Train Depot: Sexy Grandma's

One of the original Trinidad train depots built in 1918 this old building doubled as a post office and train depot after the original depot building was washed away in a flood. A large 6,000 sq ft building it was eventually transformed into a brewery/bar, and then stood empty for many years. Recently purchased by an entrepreneur from Denver, we transformed into a pizzeria, bar, and bike shop. Currently the home of Sexy Pizza Trinidad and Grandma’s House Craft Brewery (aka Sexy Grandma’s) in the main section with a full kitchen, full bar, dining area, and outdoor patio. It is also home to Tarantula Cycles, a bicycle sales and service shop. Preserving the façade, windows, and signage we updated the disused interior, plumbing, and electrical to meet these new businesses needs.

Fox West Theater

One of our more exciting and ambitious projects is the Fox West Theater. Phase 1, which is being completed now, was the 2 retail spaces and the front façade of the large historic building. The Fox West Theatre, built in 1907 is currently owned by the City of Trinidad and operated by the Fox West Theatre Alliance, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The restoration project is in conjunction with History Colorado ensuring that the space is restored to original features as much as possible down to flooring and paint colors. The first retail space has recently opened as the new Trinidad Tea Co, a tea room and shop with in-house blends of teas and spices. The second retail space is scheduled to open soon. Funds are still being raised to start phase 2 addressing the electrical, and plumbing throughout the building.

Champions Building

Built in 1882, formerly the Trinidad National Bank, this historic community staple boasts 30,890 square feet that makes up three levels of occupational space. This project started in 2019 as we restored the façade, uncovered original brick walls, tile and hardwood floors, and are building out various retail spaces, a bank, offices, and a new Health & Wellness Center to help meet various medical needs of Trinidad’s growing population.

Champions Building: 5Star Bank

In the former Trinidad National Bank Building, one of the first sections we finished was the new bank space for 5Star Bank. This sleek and sophisticated design brings the classic refined bank look back into the new space.

Champions Building: Keller Williams

Simple and elegant, we catered this space to fit the needs of the new Keller Williams realty space. We rebuilt molding on arched windows and restored the outer brick wall of the building to the original.

Champions Building: 2nd Floor Meeting Space & Offices

Various offices and meeting rooms on the 2nd floor of the Champions building currently housing the Trinidad City of Commerce, World Journal, and other businesses such as Best Face Forward Esthetics. The upper level has had brick walls revealed, wood floors refinished, molding restored, and tile steps cleaned keeping many original and unique features of this century-old building.

Champions Building: Health & Wellness

This space is still in progress and is set to house various medical professionals such as doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, and mental health facilities.

Champions Building: Sister Blandina & Curly’s Beads Gift Shop

With a gothic church feel, we built a custom-arched doorway, installed a stained-glass window, and put in beautiful flooring for this retail space, housing the Sister Blandina Gift Shop and Curly’s Beads.

Sister Blandina - Wellness Gardens

Sister Blandina Wellness Gardens was inspired by the work Sister Blandina did while she resided in Trinidad. We built a quiet place for reflection with paths through seasonal flowers, and a reflection pond, a covered patio and gazebo, and a fountain featuring Fisher’s Peak as a backdrop to provide a beautiful outdoor venue for weddings or other ceremonies, art shows, meditation, or simply a walk around the beautiful grounds.
